With extensive experience in corporate law, domestic and international contracts, structured transactions of equity finance and debt, and notably mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, mainly representing family-owned companies on the sell-side, Lasmar is a founding partner of Lasmar Advogados. Recognized for his technical excellence, negotiation skills, and close personal involvement in his clients’ projects, Lasmar has acted in numerous relevant corporate transactions both in the domestic and international markets, especially in the mining, steel, forestry, health/pharmaceutical, electro-electronic, funeral, energy, technology, infrastructure, logistics, and general consumer industries.

Before founding Lasmar Advogados, he was a partner in traditional law firms in Brazil. Qualified to practice law also in New York/USA, he was a permanent associate of the M&A department of the law firm White & Case in NY (USA) and has acted as member of boards of directors of Brazilian companies.
